in 2009 I gave up my car and bought a cargobike. it was on the window display in a little bike shop in Portland Oregon. For years I've been full of envy stares at cargo bikes around town. Finally I got one and his name is Vik. Name after the surfing town Vik in Iceland. No, I didn't take Vik to Iceland. I bought Vik shortly after my bike tour there.
Vik is orange, 55lb, self locking on the rear, 200lb capacity, wooden cargo box, got a seat, and a child sized seat belt.
When you ride Vik, it comes with a rear and front light, horn, water bottle cage, and helmet. If you need an additional helmet please let me know.
Vik's seat is movable so its ridable for all heights from 4.2ft to 6.4ft
This is such a fun bike! I am very grateful to Ed, and his partner, for renting it to us so we could continue our family adventures by bike. We didn't have a chance to meet in person, but he was incredibly responsive. I was struggling to send payment through the system with our international cell plan, but Ed took it in stride while worked it out. Rent this bike and you will have a great time getting around Vancouver!

The cargo bike was perfect to tour my friend around the seawall. It was easy to ride and Edward was very helpful showing the basics of operating the box bike. Would definitely rent again.

Edward is a very friendly and helpful guy. He provided a U-lock and a helmet for the ride. He also told me the time he was going to be available to pick the bike up end return it, giving me flexibility to plan my day and return it a bit sooner than I first planned.
